Our track record as a CAD/CAM/PLM Reseller in the UK is unrivalled and our continued growth means that we have immediate requirements for CAD/CAM/PLM Applications Engineers.
Position:
Reporting to the Technical Manager you will be responsible for working as part of the technical team. Our Applications Engineers are responsible for implementations, demonstrations, training, and support activities.
You will be working with a broad range of customers who use CAD/CAM/PLM to design and manage their products. The mix of activities will depend on your position in Pre or Post sales:
• Providing front-line technical Support over telephone/web.
• Training customers in the correct use of product range
• Working with the sales team to accurately understand our customer’s requirements.
• Demonstrating products to prospective customers
• Progression to implementing our systems into companies product development process.
Essentials:
• A working knowledge of 3D CAD/CAM
• Use of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to multi task
• Willingness to be flexible and to travel as required
• Ability to operate as a Team player
• Graduate or HND qualified
Desirable / Beneficial:
• Industry experienced with CAD/CAM
• Applicants with knowledge and/ or experience of Creo Parametric, Windchill, Inventor, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, or Mathcad would be of interest
Person:
• Natural problem solving ability and very determined
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent Command of English, both written and verbal
• Right to work in UK
Package:
• Salary range £20-£35k PA, dependant on experience and skillset
• Annual holidays plus bank holidays
