Die designers now have a choice of working with solid, sheetmetal or imported geometry to create progressive dies faster than ever before. With Pro/ENGINEER Progressive Die software, easy-to-use wizards guide the user through automatic strip layout definition, cut stamp creation, and even the placement and modification of die components. Tooling designers can automatically create drawings, including hole charts and bills of material.
Pro/ENGINEER Progressive Die also allows for “smart” assemblies and components. Operations such as clearance cuts and drilled holes are created in the appropriate components automatically. Enabling die designers to avoid repetitive and error-prone die design and detail tasks.
