Root Solutions Ltd’s UK and Europe PTC Creo Trainer, Rory Ireland-Bowcott, covered a long list of Creo Parametric 5.0 capability enhancements.

The full agenda of this informative webinar with one of the UK’s leading PTC Product Trainers covers many new capabilities of PTC Creo 5.0 including the:

Mold Machining PTC Creo 5.0 Extension. This new capability contains high-speed machining tool paths where complex designs for one-off and low-volume production can be made with ease. Within the Creo environment, when the design changes, tool paths can easily regenerate.

Flow Analysis Extension PTC Creo 5.0 Extension which allows the user to find and fix issues with liquid or gas flow around a product early in the design process, before investing in prototypes.

Topology Optimisation PTC Creo 5.0 Extension. Enabling the user to define the objectives and constraints, and Creo Parametric 5.0 will create the optimised, parametric geometry.

In-addition to the Additive Manufacture Plus Extension allowing Creo 5.0 to enable polymer or metal printing with support for Stratasys and 3D Systems plastic printers and a library of Materialise-enabled printers.

Following the training, questions from Root Solution’s current PTC Creo users where answered. Rory Ireland-Bowcott also offered to answer any further questions after the live webcast via email.
